Vinted fee calculator
Vinted is unusual: sellers keep 100% of the item price. There is no selling fee and no payment processing charge deducted from your earnings. Instead, the buyer pays a buyer-protection fee and the shipping cost on top of your price. Enter your item price to confirm the full amount you keep, and your profit once your own item cost is taken into account.

Worked example: a $25.00 Vinted sale
Suppose you sell an item for $25.00 with no shipping charge. The gross sale is $25.00. Here is how Vinted arrives at what you keep:
- Vinted deducts no seller fees, so the full $25.00 reaches you.
Total fees come to $0.00 (0.0% of the gross sale), leaving a net payout of $25.00. After your $6.00 item cost, the profit is $19.00 — a 76.0% margin on the item price.
How Vinted fees work
Vinted does not charge sellers a commission. When your item sells, you receive the full item price you set; nothing is deducted for a selling fee or payment processing. The costs of the transaction fall on the buyer, who pays a buyer-protection fee (a percentage of the item price plus a fixed amount) and the shipping label on top of your listed price. Optional extras — such as boosting a listing or your wardrobe — are paid for separately and are not deducted from your sale proceeds. This makes Vinted one of the cheapest places to sell, but note that because buyers pay fees on top, your listed price competes against the buyer's total cost.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Vinted charge sellers a fee?
- No. Vinted does not take a selling commission from sellers — you keep the full item price you list. The platform's fees are charged to the buyer instead.
- What does the buyer pay on Vinted?
- The buyer pays a buyer-protection fee (a percentage of the item price plus a fixed amount) and the shipping cost on top of your listed price. These fund purchase protection and support.
- Who pays for shipping on Vinted?
- The buyer pays for shipping. Vinted provides a prepaid shipping label and the cost is added to what the buyer pays, so it is not deducted from your earnings.
- Are there any optional seller costs?
- Yes, but they are optional and paid separately: you can boost individual items or your whole wardrobe for extra visibility. These are not deducted from your sale proceeds.
