How eBay UK fees work

The final value fee is calculated on the total amount the buyer pays, including postage and any applicable taxes. For sellers residing outside the UK the rate is 12.8% plus a fixed 30p per order, with a 0.42% regulatory operating fee on top; on a single item selling for more than £5,000, the portion above £5,000 is charged at 3% instead. UK-based private sellers pay no final value or regulatory operating fee at all (motors excepted), and pay 35p per listing only past 300 free listings a month. An international fee applies on cross-border orders at a rate set by the seller's country of residence — check your own country's fee page. Promoted Listings Standard adds the ad rate you set, charged on the item price when an ad leads to a sale.
