Compare modeled seller deductions

Put one item amount through the source-checked USD fee models and see the deductions side by side. Each product uses its own default sale type, category, plan, and payment method. This makes the arithmetic transparent without pretending a processor and a full marketplace provide the same service.

USD schedules marked source-checked, ordered by modeled effective rate. No item cost, ads, or cross-border surcharge included.

Snapshot updated for a $50.00 item and $0.00 buyer-paid shipping.

How to read this comparison

The effective rate is the modeled deduction divided by the gross sale, so it captures fixed per-order charges as well as percentages. The ordering changes as the amount changes, but it is not a recommendation: marketplaces, payment processors, and commerce software provide very different services. Buyer-paid fees, taxes, subscriptions, negotiated rates, promotions, and some optional services may also fall outside a row. Open a product calculator to review its assumptions and model your own costs.

Frequently asked questions

Which marketplace has the lowest fees?
There is no universal lowest-fee choice because the products do not provide equivalent services. A payment processor can show a smaller deduction than a marketplace while providing no marketplace audience, listing tools, or managed fulfilment. Use the table as a fee reference, then compare the services and your account's actual rate.
Why does the order change at different prices?
Fixed per-transaction fees matter more on cheap items. Poshmark's flat $2.95 under $15 and processors' fixed cents-per-transaction charges weigh more on small amounts. The order reflects only the modeled deduction at the amount you enter, not overall product value.
Does this comparison include shipping and item cost?
The table uses one item price and the shipping amount you enter, while excluding item cost, shipping spend, ads, and cross-border surcharges. Each product retains its own default category, plan, sale type, and payment method, so the rows are a reference snapshot rather than a like-for-like service comparison.
